Bridlington Flying Suspended

Bridlington Flying Suspended

Until further notice, pilots are asked not to fly Bridlington.

We have received a report from Bridlington Council about an incident involving a paraglider and one of the land trains.

It seems at the moment, nobody was hurt but the Council were concerned that the glider which, was reported to be out of control, may have struck and injured someone.

If anyone has any information which would help the investigation please email Andy Berzins at

The Council have asked that we review the rules for the site, especially with regard to strong winds, as at the moment they feel it was a contributory factor.

It is vital that individuals do not contact the Council directly.

We will inform everyone of any further developments.
