New 2019 Club competitions!

Launch of the Sir George Cayley Club 2019 Competitions.
A few changes to previous year's competitions and the following 3 new challenges aimed for all level of flyers:

  • Coupe l-Brid
  • Filey Bay cylinder challenges
  • Height gain challenge

    The dates for some of the competitions have been changed in order to align with XC League: Highest Cayley Club pilot point scorer, longest XC from the coast and longest coastal XC.
    These competitions will now run from 1 November 2018 to 31 October 2019.
    This means that any flights recorded between the 1st of November 2018 and the 31st of January 2019 will count towards both the 2018 and 2019 competitions.

    New Competition Manager and Competition & Challenges Newsletter

    Please welcome our new Sir George Cayley Competition Manager, David Perryman. David has been extremely keen to push new club competitions in the club and will be performing the role of competition manager effective immediately.

    On a quarterly basis, David will publish a competitions newsletter for the club, with the first edition from July - September.
